It will remove dependency of listing with big online merchants like Flipkart or Amazon. It is considered to be the initial step towards setting up an ecommerce marketplace by Google. You can take the example of Amazon where it initially started with price comparison website Junglee.com and once it has the sufficient consumer date, it entered in to ecommerce business.
